What is a branding package?

A branding package is a multiple page document that defines a format for all of your marketing materials. It includes colors, fonts and a feel that you want to keep consistent throughout your marketing. You should develop a branding package prior to doing any marketing. Often times companies will start out without one and their marketing changes so much over time. This may not sound like a big deal, but inconsistencies in marketing equals inconsistencies in product. It's not to say that the branding package can't develop as the company grows, it's the standards in which it was built off of.
